SafeCon Consulting Group Inc. receives Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise status and certification from the state of California. “We are proud to have completed the application and review process, and to be recognized as a DVBE company”, said Jim Jonas, Principal at SafeCon. The Department of General Services, State of California has a rigorous application and review process, and upon successful completion, certifies eligible companies as DVBEs.
Founding Principal Sam Iler says “This certification will allow us to provide our service clients with the ability to better compete for, and meet DVBE goals on targeted projects, especially state and military projects, with specific requirements and targets in this area. “In addition to our State Certification, which is recognized by multiple agencies and local governments throughout the state, we have applied for and expect to receive our Federal Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Certification in the first quarter of 2010,” stated Jonas.
